Republicans do it and so do the Democrats. Can't we all just agree on that much at least?

Yes, it's just that Republicans do it so much more frequently. Witness the Bush Administrations every press conference, and lets not forget the "Conservative" propagandists' Limbaugh, O'Riley, Hannity and the rest.

Without question. It's sad because nothing gets done on the extremes. Things happen in the middle, where rational discussion takes place and compromise is reached to provide the most benefit to the most people.

Yup...agreed. Both sides passionately feel they are right. I wonder what elections would like if we didn't have political parties and they had to go on integrity alone?

i dont agree that there are only two sides to begin with; but yes, lying and propaganda can be found accross the political spectrum.

We do not even define integrity the same, in my opinion.
