At least you were smart enough to put Miami, LSU, Florida... these people that are trying to tell you that USC has the best defense clearly pay too much attention to the media. USC has a good defensive unit but, come on, all the schools you mentioned are on a totally different level. I'm an LSU fan so I'd love to just say LSU (a fair statement because we've had some of the best defenses ever these past few years) but you can't discount Florida and Miami that easily. Miami could be unranked again next year and STILL have a better defense than USC. It's all about the competition, brother. Florida and LSU expect to play teams that are built, run, and coached like NFL teams. Comparitively, the PAC 10 and ACC are just scrub conferences.
I'll push and say LSU, Florida, Auburn and Alabama (Nick Saban, hate em or love em, will have the Tide ready).
You can listen to real football fans or you can listen to the media loving west coasters who can't tell a pig skin from a potato skin.

LSU. That D line will beastly and so will the linebackers. The secondary will be allright but they will really miss Laron and Jessie. How can anyone say Michigan? Yea the D looks good against the bad teams but when they play OSU and USC they get burned. I think USC D will be good too.

you will would desire to describe to me the right thank you to probably think of that the Trojans are puffed up. Their group this year would be frightening-sturdy on the two sides of the ball. i'm going to concede that the SEC is usual the toughest convention interior the rustic, yet this year's USC group will whip any group interior the convention. I basically wish that my Cal Bears disenchanted USC.

I think LSU. Florida lost a lot of guys from last year. While they are talented, they are somewhat inexperienced.
LSU, though, has it both: great talent AND a lot of veteran leadership.
