My high school graduation gown was black, but our school colors were black and gold. My old high school's gowns were blue because their colors were blue and white. It depends on the school's colors usually.

My gown was goldish/yellowish. Our school colors were gold and blue, the boys wore the royal blue and us girls sported the gold. This was in high school. I'll get back to you when I graduate from college in a year!

Mine Will Be White. Our Main School Colors Are Black & Orange... But They Didn't Want The Guys To Wear Black & The Girls To Wear Orange So They Just Did White And The Tassels On Our Caps Are Black, Orange, & White.

Mine was black for both high school and college. I always thought the color symbolized the times: assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, the Vietnam War, and Richard Nixon's self-described impeachment, aka resignation.
