This is a philosophical dilemma, but follow my line of thinking for a moment: all you ever possess with any certainty is the present; tomorrow may never come for you, and for that matter the next few hours are no guarantee either. (Naturally I hope nothing bad befalls you, but I'm trying to illustrate a point here). We all live in the hopeful expectation that we aren't going to be dying soon, so the future as a concept has some value as a motivator for better preparation: getting educated, saving money, investing, buying insurance, etc. But the future remains a concept (powerful though it may be). The work to bring about a better eventuality is realized and acted upon in the here and now, that is, the present. For this reason, I feel like the present is more important. "Appreciate the moment."
Besides, the present can be a powerful motivator too. Carpe Diem.

Most people would advise you to care more about your future than your present, because the future is the one who comes, present will become past.
I would tell you that the PRESENT is far more important than the past ! Why ? Because the actions you make in your PRESENT directly influence your FUTURE. So, if you want to have a "healthy" future, be very careful of what you do in the PRESENT.
They are both important, of course, but you must give more importance to this instant you're living...
Live the PRESENT to enjoy the FUTURE !!!
;) Good luck...

I'd say the present time-if you don't start NOW to make something good for yourself to have in the future then when the future comes you'll be struggling. (Example, if you are in school, it's important you study hard and do your best so in the future you can get a good job to financially support yourself and possibly your spouse and kids.) What you do in the present time affects your future. Some people today are still paying the price for yesterday's mistakes.
All the best!!

Your present turns into history alot faster than the future so I would say your future is more important.

One's present is much more important.
Your future is based upon your present and the present of so much around you.

Your actions now will determine your future..Such as an example, if you do not have education and do not go to school, you may end up involved in crime and less income, and a miserable life..These of your choices will affect your future...But if you have education and go to school you will probably have a better life..
