Nothing whatsoever is being accomplished by either side using tactics such as those you have cited. Both sides do it, and it makes those who do it appear to be part of the ignorant, uninformed masses. If you believe strongly enough in your party you should be able to support you beliefs with intelligence and factual evidence, rather than resorting to the use of innuendo, rhetoric, gross generalizations, and never ending diatribes, designed for the sole purpose of tearing down the other side. Why they do not focus their energy on building up their side, I do not know, it seems to me that would be a much more productive use of time.

I could care less about jail for anyone anymore open the gates and let them all go free but at least tell the truth .
Like I sold drugs to pay my bills .
I robbed a bank to fund my drug addiction .

I lied to congress to cover up a plan to go to war for no reason that caused the deaths of 3600 American soldiers 30,000 wounded and tens of thousands of Iraqi's killed and wounded .

Ok the real reason was Clinton cut funding to all the military contractors and this made conservative war mongers mad .
SO to get even we needed a war that will last 50 years like the cold war did .

They accomplish what you and I believe they accomplish.

Nothing.

Some people are just venting. This forum does not lend itself to thought, but to bickering, finger-pointing, mindless repetition of propaganda, and childishness.

I can never tolerate it for long. I put in a few answers, drift away for weeks, recover, and drift back.

When I see someone with thousands of questions/answers in the Politics section, I wonder what is wrong with them. You can argue that it is entertainment, and it is, but the choice of entertainment sort of begs the question, doesn't it?

Here's what they're accomplishing: Getting responses. And having fun doing it. They know that "questions" like "Y DO LIBRAL'S HATE AMERICA AN ARE TROOP'S LOLOL11!!!1!!!" anger some people, especially new users. Same for liberals who ask "questions" like "y do u lkie bush hes the mos retarted president evr!!!!!," 9/11 conspiracy fanatics, and so on.
