Clinton/Obama vs. Thompson/Guiliani... the T/G ticket is about the best the Republicans can hope to field now that McCain went Howard Dean on everyone... who did he think he was, Jimmy Carter, Pat Robertson? A terrible end to the political career of a true war hero.

The American public will have to overcome some serious prejudices before a woman or black man will ever be president... I think the aforementioned Democratic ticket is unbeatable, but it is the Republican's election to lose for that reason.

We'll see who shows up to the polls on election day... this truly will be an election by the people. It has the potential to historic, but more than likely will be Bush/Gore all over again.

Is it any coincidence that Hillary claims her ties to Chicago and one of the heads of the Democratic party is Daley?

Will be
Most likely Clinton for the Dems. The Reps are harder to call, but either Giuliani or Thompson (Hopefully both!!)

Should be
Dems; I really don't like any in the field right now, Not just cause they're dems but because I don't like their platforms.
Reps; Giuliani or Thompson. Thompson is more of a conservative, which I like, but Giuliani has more recognition and, in my OPINION, a better chance.
