Bronchial dialator (having an asthma attack? Small puff and it's gone)

Lowers the pressure in the eyes which benefits glaucoma victims.

THC helps prevent dead cells from becoming cancer cells.

It drastically reduces nausea in kemo patients and increases their appetite.

But no everyone feels so great about legaized medical marijuana, what's your take?

I definitely agree that marijuana should be legal for medical conditions. They could write a prescription for it just like any other medication. I really don't get it, because drunk drivers kill many people every year. I've never heard of anyone stoned killing anyone. I watched my Mom go through chemo for breast cancer and she was so very sick. The pills they gave her to help her nausea were $45. a piece. Medical use of marijuana should have been legalized a long time ago. People shouldn't have to suffer when there is something natural that will help them get some relief.

There are a number of Republicans who have been in favor of legalizing medical marijuana, but most of them are Libertarians. I believe Ron Paul , Former Gov Gary Johnson of New Mexico, Federal Judge Robert Sweet, Milton Friedman the economist wrote a book in opposition to the war on drugs . It is understandable why Libertarian Republicans would take that position. However more surprising is that run of the mill Republicans who are Conservative fiscally do not support Medical Marijuana, because aside from the issues of humanity, It would save the country a lot of money. It's kind of hypocritical that Marinol, a synthetic form of cannabis is legal but Marijuana is not, at least on a Federal level/Many studies have been done demonstrating the benefits of marijuana, Namely Dr. Lester Grin spoon of Harvard, Dr Ethan Nadelman of the Lindesmith Center, and quite a few others. So what's the big deal ? it looks like the USA suffers from a bad case of Narco Phobia.
