They have a different taste. I've tried different brands and I always go right back to Marlboro. It's just preference, but they do taste different.

I dont think there is a HUGE difference in tastes between the brands, some are stronger tasting than other but many taste identical to me, Marlboro, Camel (filtered) and Gold Coast (a generic brand) taste identical. Other brands taste lighter IMO and Winston makes my throat raw.

The deal is to avoid smoking if you want to save your health. All kinds of cigarettes harm you. The difference is that some of them are more powerful with more vigorous taste and some less.

HUGE difference and yes the brand matters. It is just what your taste is. From Parliaments to Marlboro to Newports. If you taste these three, you will have three extremely different tastes.

No you will die from them all, name brand, off brand five bucks a pack or two!

What I have noticed is that the "main stream brands" tend to stink worse that some others.

Maybe a difference in taste. Maybe a difference in cost.

But is any one better than the others in terms of doing less harm to your health? No.

The cheapest ones are usually the remains of the more expensive ones. They sweep them up off the factory floor (with all the dirt germs and dust), and sell them on.

Oh and they usually contain even more poison than the others.
