I would have him sing to me and tell me about his childhood.
(I would consider him an honored guest no matter what kind of dragon he was and I wouldn't ever make the mistake of thinking that I owned him. That could be a very serious mistake.)

I would have my dragon eat the stary cats who poop in my flower pots. He/she would be a cheap way to get back and fourth to work. Cheap lighting for my fireplace. Also a great security guard so my dog could have time off to catch up on sleep. "when she isn't walking her night rounds of my house" Playmate for my kids. Companion for my wife while I am away.
I am sure I could think of more, but right now I am out.

The ******* central heating doesn't work in our house, so a dragon would be really handy in the winter, seeing as it takes so bloody long to light the open fire in the front room.
In summer, I have no idea what it could do...
I suppose we could rent it out to Australians (it's winter for them during our summer). Sort of like some sort of weird time-share.

Light my bonfires and my candles. Patrol the yard and keep burglars away. Dispose of a lot of my leftovers and things, as I don't think they sell dragon food at the market.

Id make it toast the damn dogs that try to s**t on my lawn jk I love dogs but hate what they make on a daily basis, maybe I'd make the dragon barbeque my food all the time, would save me the trouble of having to do it

As long as he could handle a hose, I'd have him burn off the underbrush... the hose is for anything that gets out of control.
Flash cooked meals... yum.
Flying into town would be nice.
Just lying around looking spectacular.

in summer his flapping wings cool the house.
in autumn his claws rake up all the leaves
in winter he warms up the hot tub and sends his steaming breath into the sauna.
in spring his swaying tail makes a nice teeter tottering swing to entertain the kiddies with.

I'd like to have a pet attack dragon. But my luck would be it would turn out to be a lap dragon.

I'd put him in charge of making pizzas. I'd build a nice brick oven for him. Nothing yummier than a good brick oven pizza.
