Can anyone suggest a good film, preferably at least based on a real person's llife that focusses on the process of growing up in to a life of crime.
I have watched a Sense of Freedom, but it doesn't really address Jimmy Boyle's early life - it starts with him already running money-lending and protection rackets.
I suppose Goodfellas might be as good as anything, but any other suggestions?
Please note: I don't have a particular film in mind: just looking for your suggestions. Cheers.

You might want to give "Mafia Princess" a try. It came out in 1986 and stars Susan Lucci as Antoinette Giancana, daughter of real life mob boss Sam Giancana.

Most people understand and accept that slasher films are not real and find entertainment in them as they liked to be scared, which is just like going on a roller coaster to be scared. The effects debate about the media's impact is a lengthy debate that has never reached a conclusion. If a person decides after watching a violent film to then go out and commit violence isn't that to do with something in that person themselves? The percentage of those who aren't violent after watching films is far greater than those who are.
