i was wondering how those kids got onto Disney Channel (even from the Uk). I mean do they audition or something? I was wondering (after my GCSE's) if i could become an actor in the Disney Channel (one of the programs). At the moment I'm 15.

Some of them just audition but others are lucky enough to go to theater school. I know that the British kids Pax Baldwin and Sydney White both go to Sylvia Young's Theatre School which has its own agent. Good Luck though!!

I know that for Disney Channel you need an agent. Also, there are like a million other tweens who ALSO want to be in Disney channel. If you don't already do acting, take classes and audition for shows at your community theatre.

Yeah, you have to like audition and junk. You'll need to move to LA, study the craft until you are good enough to do it professionally, get signed to a contract by a SAG franchised agent who handles kids, wait until a role opens up, be submitted along with several hundred other kids, be selected out of that group to audition, then beat out the hundred or so other kids for the part. Simple.

Most of them, like Raven Symone and Miley Cyrus, have been performing on Disney for years.
One or both of them may have been on another of the Disney shows.

You need to have an agent and an established resume with some good training and background experience.
