Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but people don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

Second... i actually have no problem pointing to my crotch... when i need to goto the bathroom!
Ummm.... but i guess i think i need to watch what i do... in bars or restaurants... i've been mistaken for asking for a "booty call" instead of a needing the washroom.

I point to my crotch when asking about the bathroom or the nearest singles bar!

Every thing has a start someone started that then the rest followed so you can also start pointing at the crotch may be your friends /children will start doing then the rest of the country wil do it.

Most people in this Country where a Watch!!!
It's a habit that people have gotten into 100 years ago it was not a issue because of pocket Watches!!!
I think its because it would take two hands the Front and the Back!!! And NO body wants to Double Point to those areas!!!!

people probably point to their wrist because u would have a watch on your wrist. if they point to their crotch, then that's digusting and they dont have a toilet or bathroom on their crotch.

They might be needing a dump and if they pointed to their *** without turning around the person they were asking wouldn't see it. Laziness then I guess.
