Mccanns to raise ANOTHER £35,000 at Donnington?current news?

I have just heard on the news for our area the Mccanns are doing a charity concert to raise Another £35,000 to help search for maddie it took the news reader around 5 seconds to tell us this.I just want to know when are these pair of vultures going to stop?surely people have given enough now and half of the money given is being used to keep them in portugal.How much longer is this going to go on and surely they must know that the public are going to stop giving money soon.Ok keeping her memory alive is one thing but fleecing the public day after day is another.Posters around the world of maddie will keep her from being forgotton,but she has been drummed into us all from day one so i don,t think anyone will for get what she looks like so surely this should be enough now.So i just wish somebody would tell them pair to go home and raise their other 2 babies.Surely the time has come to say no to giving more money?It surely isn,t being used to find their daughter.

why am i evil?im just stating the obvious that this money is going nowhere and soon people are going to think the same and by the looks of things people are beginng to.It dosn,t mean i don,t love because im wondering why this much needs to raised if they where doing something with it like "leaving no stone unturned"and searching for maddie then i,d think differantly but they have not once gone searching for her,and i mean physically old clothes torches and gone walking through scrubland to look for her.Its all about money,he dosn,t mention her on his blog or give any message to her if she,s still with us,but at least he was happy to find his driving licence hey!I have put money to her fund and i hope she is ok but like i,ve said before this isn,t about maddie anymore its about them raising as much money as they can.When i see them PHYSICALLY doing something to find their daughter i might think differant,but its 60+days now and they havn,t done nothing but make money.

I know we can donate or not but the fact is everytime they show a picture of her this makes people want to donate and why the tv and now cinemas are showing her picture everyday the public will go weak and donate more.If this money was actually doing something to find maddie it would be no problem but it isn,t.
I am a parent myself like many of you and i love my children dearly ROBERT C but i think there would be a time to say i think we should go home and try our best to make a life for our other children and try our best to carry on for their sakes,but not them pair god what must their other 2 babies be going through to?they need love,attention and stability to but what they got a nanny a creche and a mum and dad an hour before bedtime.They have lost a sister to and they seem to have forgotton that.

This is not about their daughter it is about them, else Gerry would not keep writing his blog.

what do the m'canns want this money for now.
they seem to forget that they did leave 3 children under 4 alone . what caring responsible parent would leave a 3y old & twins aged just 2 alone. Who is looking after the twins while they are gallavanting round the world on their crusade. I dont doubt they love their kids but where are they. perhaps still in the same room as maddy was taken from, waiting for mummy & daddy to come home. They stated a while back that they had no plans to return back to work in the near future, do they have unlimited wealth. I pray with all my heart that maddy will be found safe & well but as each day passes you start to wonder if that will happen. There are other children out there that have gone missing & never been found , so will the media do for anyone else whose child goes missing what they are doing for the m'canns.

Just look at how you people are all responding to "THE MONEY SITUATION" It's like the child is secondary with all of you and the money is primary. I well expect to have a ton of 'thumbs down', simply because I point out this fact and it is clearly apparent that 98% of you are all on the same page. Most contribution are handled by a bank and the people only receive money when needed. Like an ESCROW account..........As a rule they are not allowed to keep the leftovers. It is usually sent as a donation for another cause.
Does one of you 'ACTUALLY' know how much money has been donated or what it is spent on? It appears from my prespective that you all are jealous that they are receiving donations and you are not.

Would it hurt any of you to stop this bickering over the money and" BEND YOU HEAD IN PRAYER AS A GROUP" Just say a prayer for Maddie and her siblings and her parents , you can even ask God to "Remove the mote from your eye. It will give you some peace of mind
and not keep you so fired up.

My prayers are with the family, but they are also with you because of your anger over the

God know what is in the McCanns heart not you! By the same token He knows what is in your heart as well.
Please, please, lets all pray to remove our "motes" so that we can move past all of this and get to the real NEED. To pray for Maddie, a frightened little girl that just wants to go home to her mommie and daddy.

Cannot for the life of me think why they need to raise more money unless it's to keep them in the lifestyle they are now accustomed to! All the money that's been raised so far hasn't produced anything, Maddie is still missing and all that has been achieved so far is a couple of people trying to scam the money out of Kate and Gerry!!!

Agree with you totally, it's about time they started caring for their other 2 children. I can only imagine how terrible it must be each passing day that their daughter has not been found, but this has all been caused by their selfishness on that evening! My heart goes out to Maddie, I sincerely hope she is safe and well, but as time goes on, hope is receding :(

The McCanns did no longer overlook their teenagers and did no longer take one hour to call the Police. i'm placing out to believe which you already know greater with regard to the case than the PJ, LOL. Rachel H has a point, the "Fund" hasn't decreased once, So what is the money for? And why are the Mccann's buying a villa in Portugal? Gerry insists that Madeleine isn't in Portugal anymore, so why Not Come Home?

I think they need more money to pay for the team of lawyers. This must be where the largest proportion of the money is going. Three lawyers' fees to pay plus their expenses - it must have swallowed up around £200,000 so far.

The total for the fund doesn't go down because it's a record of contributions. There's no need for them to publish accounts yet so contributors have no idea where the money's going.

My feeling is that contributions will dry up fairly soon and the buffer zone of lawyers and other paid supporters will disappear. Then the awkward questions will start to produce results.

What is really happening to the money, and if they do find her safe and well (hopefully) what will happen to the money already raised? O.k i feel sorry for the little girl no child deserves to be taken from their family but as for the parents who are constantly trying to make money out of misery i have no sympathy. firstly they leave her alone surely that is some kind of neglect, secondly surely the police in the appropriate countries should be looking for her. I think they need to come home and look after the rest of the family.

it's a difficult question, i agree with one of the comments re moving heaven and earth to find their missing child, problem is what are they actually achieving? countries know her, posters are everywhere. However to quote a line from the cinema appeal if they had showed love interest and care when in portugal and not left her 'alone' (in terms) would she be missing? The point about the other children is very valid too they need parents.

a agree on the money side seems to me this amount of cash they already have donated they could do a million campaigns and stay in portugal for a long time but people do have a choice whether to donate or not it also seems that on their salaries and the value of their home they could easily have funded the whole thing themselves id sell my house cars anything i could if i needed money not set up a company
