Cheaper than cat food? If I buy bird seed and feed birds my cat could kill birds and eat for free. Would I save money with this plan?

I just don't think so!
First, most cats are too lazy to make it to their dish, much less hunt the birds. Second, that's just mean! Third, what is your problem with birds?
If you feed the birds, you will get more birds, have to buy more bird seed, and the cat will still be too lazy to catch them.
In the end, you will be buying bird seed and cat food!
To answer your question, you will not be saving. LOL

Make sure your cat is up to date on it's shots. It may pick up some disease from the birds. Otherwise, I think this plan is a winner.

Zorak says, "Regrettably, I think this plan is doomed to fail. I should know, I am constantly trying to take over the Universe, Bwaa Haaa Haaa!!! A cat hunts, but does not hunt only birds. They, of course, hunt small prey, such as rodents, bugs, etc., but, unless you live on a farm with a lot of acreage, I don't think your bird plan will work. "

oh my stars that has got to be the Y!A silliest question. Toots, how are you gonna guarantee that the birds and the cat will concide with feeding times?

Why must the cat have to work for a meal? Cats are privileged creatures and must be treated that way.

Yeah, except you'd be in violation of the migratory bird treaty act.
