It could be the form of energy, the form of gravity, the form of a wave-particle-frequency, or the form of that which makes the timberwolf howl at the moon. And there's your difference. Thought can think about anything it is aware of, even itself; energy does not think, rather, it is posterior to thought. No additional insight is gained if we reverse your terms, and ask, "Could energy be a form of thought?" Please remember that only living beings form predicates.
A study of general logic would be more beneficial to everyone not familiar with it. You may even come to understand the above question, which isn't really a question. (Such questions are simulacrum of propositions. The above question is actually a problematic proposition, exaggerated by the pairing of difficult terms.) My answer simply attempts to restore dignity to "thought".

Absolutely! I believe thought is a form of energy. There have been scientific demonstration that show thought has an effect on things in the world. A good example of this is that our thoughts cause chemical changes in our bodies. Consider for a moment, what causes a physical sexual response in a man or woman, if not just their own thought? Or what causes a person to break out in a sweat suddenly when they have to give a speach in public, or have a heart attach when faced with some thing frightening like a dangerous wild animal.
Today we already have computers that can interact with humans through human thoughts alone, conducted through electrodes connected to the human body.
And every man in a relationships, knows that when he wins praise from his girl or wife for something he's done, he wants to do more of it, and regardless of what's happening in his life, he finds an abundance of time and energy to accomplish it. However, if he is discouraged, ridiculed, he has no desire or the energy--in fact he may use the excuse that he is too tired or has no energy--to do what she wants.
It all starts with a thought.

In the "old days" when newspapers printed the news, not just liberal perversions, there were a number of articles (in newspapers and magazines) that pointed out that thought is a form of energy.
If you get a bunch of books on paranormal, you will find that many have broached this topic; however, as "science" currently exists, there is no way to prove or disprove it.
However, there are too many instances where people seem to know what another is thinking, ghost stories (not the Halloween ones, but real life events) and so forth to discount it.

My definition of energy is anything that can be used to power another object or being. Such as electricity powers a lamp, and food gives humans the energy for activities.
Though could not power an appliance or something like that, but it powers humans with ideas. If you look at it right, thought could be the essential "batteries", if you will, that fuels our brain's ability to produce ideas.

In physics we have potential and kinetic energy.
When considering efficiency of actions it is definitive
that thought functions as potential energy by influencing
the effect through the return on investment of performing
an efficient action. In the same way that we can place
an object at a great height and state that it has potential
energy, we can think to place a lever on the ground
at the point of impact and expect that the lever has
a potential to be activated by the falling object causing
a chain reaction of controlled kinetic energy; engineering
is based on the concept of thought as potential energy.

to a manner of speaking, the synapse is an energy release.
emissions of theta waves can be detected from the mind, however these are exceedingly weak.
Vibes, are more of what a person wears on there demeanor. You see it on them and react in instinctive patterns.

Thought is the first form of energy. Words in motion forming thoughts. Great Question.
Words are the second form of energy= Thoughts in motion.
Actions are thoughts and words together in motion.

I think you might be on to something, there are people who can send telopathic messages or understand eachother without speaking so maybe your right and we have yet to discover it, it may be an energy that only impacts certain things, for instance radiation only impacts certain cells so maybe thought energy only effects organisms, not objects or anything.. you might be on to something.

An electron and a positron collide and Voilà E = mc2...Maybe that's how thoughts form too!0!

energy is having the power to do work of any kind so "thought" is a form of energy as it involves thinking and that is work as your mind is working....
