here it's the situation in Spain:
Most of young Spainards speaks English, but don't expect a goog level.
As an Spaniard i got to say that many things have change since the Democracy has come, more than 30 years ago. So you must not think that we live in a mainly machist society, although there are still old fashioned attitudes.
Are we easy??. Well, it depends on you. Spanish girls are not easy (at all) so if you introduce your self, we'll be nicely surprised.
By the way, don't take care of answers above. Seems racist' isn't it?

HA HA!!! Some one didn't do there research!!! LMAO Ether way Spain inperticular is based on a different male/female value system then your use to. Namley, THE MAN DO CRAP! NOTHING AT ALL!!! 3/4 man don't left a figure for house work. And you better not talk to them about equal female/male rights they'll just laugh and hand you the broom. Call you a stupid american girl and send you on your way. Seriously look into it, spainish men are actually the most laziest man of any culture. Thankfully the laziness doesn't extent to the latino's but there still very old fashion, so wear a dress when you go and try and act stupid.... So yes there easy if you wear an apron! Just don't expect them to get into a lively debate with you about politics, religion, or equal rights, there way or the highway, enjoy your romance! Next time don't base your perception on TV's romantic light....
