When an adjective is needed, the word is "Democratic". Why is it so hard to include those two little letters? Too many rightists use phrases like "Democrat Party" "Democrat Senator" "Democrat Candidate" "Democrat policies". When you do this, you
-- Ungrammatically use a noun in place of an adjective.
-- Seem to be imitating Joe McCarthy.
Why should we respect the alleged intelligence of anyone who makes an elementary grammatical error, or who is too lazy to utter a two-letter syllable?

Generally it's rigid Republicans who are sticklers for such things as grammar, so you can't jump on me for this!

Llamas: I could answer your questions if you provided an email link. But thanks for the cliche Liberal Strawman. It has no relation to reality.

Sacolunga: (Another guy who lobs rehtoric bombs and hides.) "Republicanic" is not a word. The correct term remains "Democratic".

Hey Joe: Use an adjective form.
I say "Democrat Party" IS NOT acceptable. It's the McCarthy usage.

No. Right wingers are in fact very hard working, and expend tremendous effort getting themselves elected, providing tax breaks for their corporate friends, promoting their cronies, and tearing down our democracy.
The reason they say "Democrat" is partly because it is what they have heard, since they only talk to other right wingers, partly because they want to deny the title "Democratic" to their opponents, and partly as a tactic to turn the word "Democrat" into a pejorative, as they have done with "Liberal".
It also serves as a shibboleth by which they can identify one another.

You should concern yourself with the idea others are trying to express instead of the grammatical mistakes. When you focus on semantics, you threaten civil discourse.
By the way, The Democrat Party is acceptable as a party member is considered a Democrat. Republican must be represent the individual and the party. Either way, both groups are truly democratic.

Hey, i<3llamas. My "leftist, disloyal" husband just finished serving his country honorably for six years in the Navy. He is not the only one. For someone who speaks so highly of facts you dabble in vast generalizations quite well. So let's just put a stop to that nonsense.
Before anyone answers your questions you may want to clarify. If you see questioning the decisions of our current Administration as "opposing any form of freedom" your next stop should be at www.merriam-webster.com.
Please give me an example of "cowering in fear of the word fact". Because it seems to me that people who are a bit more liberal look at the facts and are concerned.
FACT: Putting a ribbon on your car does not support troops. It supports companies that make ribbons. (If you REALLY want to support troops go to www.operationmilitarypride.org and send a care package)
FACT: The minimum wage in this country is not a living wage.
FACT: Each year, U.S. taxpayers subsidize U.S. businesses to the tune of almost $125 billion, the equivalent of all the income tax paid by 60 million individuals and families.
These are facts. They are disconcerting. Things need to change. It is truly an act of freedom to work for change in the country that we love. If we didn't love it, we wouldn't care.

Democrats do not believe in Democracy, therefore are not a 'democratic' party. They demonstrably use all sorts of trickery, including activist judges, to thwart democracy.
If they believed in democracy, we would still have freedom of religious expression, abortion would not be legal and government would not be allowed to take away our property (homes) to give to businesses to generate tax revenue.
Our Republican form of government (Read the Constitution!) was designed to protect us from folks like the Democrats.

Ha Ha. Because we have a Democratic Government and a Democrat party. This is more proof of liberal stupidity. Please master the English language and semantics before posting this drivel.
