Can you explain Greedy in what sense it is you are meaning ?
I am far from a royalist ... But i find it somewhat irritating when people say things about them that have no basis ...
Many charities benefit from royal involvement and THAT'S a good thing .. The royals could sit in their castles and NOT contribute anything .. BUT they do. They promote people's businesses , they promote people's arts and skills ..
the poor buggars live like goldfish in a glass bowl with everybody gazing in on them ready to critise every little mistake they may. or accuse them of being greedy ... I wouldn't be them for Quids!

I don't think they are greedy, it's just their way of life. I guess you could say that every one and also animals show that they are greedy at times.

I don't think they are at all greedy. During the war, the Queen used to turn the collars and cuffs on her children's clothes. I think the Queen is quite thrifty actually.
