Okay, I just got a new laptop, and I'm about ready to pull my hair out. With my new laptop do I get Miscrosoft Word and Windows Vista for free? Because both are on my computer, and I defenitely paid enough for both of them, but they both need an activation key I can't find in my stuff. Where is the code? And do I get it?

Call your vendor and ask about Vista activation.

M$-Office is likely only a Trial version.

Instead, try the free and M$-Office compatible Open Office from:

Just make sure that if you want others to be able to view the documents using M$-Office Word, save them using "Save as..." in the .doc format, instead of the default .odt format. Or use the built-in PDF creation feature.

Included: Writer (Word), Calc (Excel), Impress (PowerPoint), Base (Access), Draw (M$-Paint) and Math
