Why do some African-American men choose to only date women of the Caucasian persuasion?

I work with two African-American men who choose to only date Caucasian women.

Honestly, cause I know bruthas like this, they think white women will put up with more stuff, cater to them more, and basically treat them better as in being more subservient. Some bruthas think black women have attitudes that they can't deal with. White women seem to be easier for them.

I personally don't agree with any of that, but I have been told this. To me, those guys underestimate themselves as well as black women and women of all races.

Because according to classical western though on what is and is not attractive, white women fit the bill more than black women. It's too bad, but black men are just a subject to being influenced by media on what is/isn't attractive as anyone else. Out media tells people that skinny white women are the definition of beauty.

It's called a personal choice. I know alot of white girls that will only date black men. Sometimes it has alot to do with past experiences. Maybe that just happens to be who they meet and are attracted to?

I do know a few black men that date white women because they think they can get away with more.......

In my opinion, not to cause sparks or make any racist remarks, but black men who date white women only, do it because the white woman is easy. If you ever study or even look at the difference between a black woman and a white woman, we are total opposite. We are strong and don't stand for anything.

We are independent and have our own ideas and thoughts. We don't have to become something else in order for someone to like us. We don't have to "be down" to be accepted. Mainly the black man that dates the "white women only" are controlling, and don't want the challenge of dealing with the strength of a woman of color.

On the other flip of the coin, it could be as simple as preference. Why do you like ice cream?

Maybe that's just what they like...everyone has a preference, and last I checked it wasn't against the law. What is it exactly that you are fishing for lady?
I knew a white guy who had a thing for Asians...that was his preferance...I never wondered why, because people just like what they like
