very rarely I see things through rose-colored glasses.

I see things as they are - why fool yourself into thinking things are better than what they really are....i.e: sex, vanity, money, quantity instead of quality, government, SUV's, big houses, big immediate families, etc. If you want to live in a fantasy land, join an organized religion, there is plenty of imagination loaded between the cover of the Bible and the back of the Koran.
