It's summer and everyone is doing all sorts of different things. So I thought it would be fun to have a bunch of my friends sleepover at my house. Normal right? There are five girls I want to have over. But there's this girl who I am sort of friends with but can be real mean and cause a lot of "drama." I dont want to invite her because I know she'll cause problems and I want the sleepover to go as smoothly as possible. But if I dont she'll be SO mad at me and she's one of the people who can hold a grudge and make it easier to be okay with. What do I do? Any advice? Please, serious answers only! I thought she was nice i n the beginning of the year so we became close friends but then I saw what she was really like but I knew I just couldn't dump her all together because that'd be too mean. So basically she thinks we are like Best Friends whereas I find us just friends. She actually can be nice when it's only two people but... Please help!!

I can't just drop her completely because that'd be technically ditching her. and trust me; i know how that feels and i wouldn't want to do that to anyone else, no matter how mean they are. It's just the way I am.

dont invite her and if she *** say you were only allowed a certain number.

organise a separate one for her, cos shes just that little bit "extra special"

I'd go ahead with the sleepover with out her and if and when it comes up that you didn't invite her then be honest...tell her that she has an agressive attitude and you were afraid that she'd hurt some of the other girls' feelings. Tell her like her and have no problem but others may see her as over bearing and agressive and you didn't want to have any conflict or hurt feelings at the sleep over....if she's as mean as you say then you don't need her as a friend...if she's a true friend then she'll understand and maybe even try to tone down a little so she'll be invited to the next get together.

i had that problem, exactly the same, sadly i had to invite her b/c it wasnt the time to be making any stands, gradually move away from her try getting her to make new friends then try having your sleepover. i think it will turn out for the better that way.

Don't invite her and be honest about why, in the most respectful way you can.
