Loving God.
Raising 2 children to become wonderful young adults.
Feeling you are doing good in the world--whether it's by your job or what you do at church, or for your community.
Loving others.
Loving yourself.
Having a partner in life--someone who is your true love, your soulmate, your best friend. I am blessed enough to have a man like that in my life and we are getting ready to spend our lives together.
Don't give up and don't back down from your convictions and beliefs.-- a smart talented man I know lives his life that way.

3. Never assume anything.
4. Be Positive.
5. Be Confident.

Being myself.
There will be times people loves me, there will be times people don't. It has made me friends, it has made me enemies. I've gotten promotions and I've gotten fired. Some teachers have bumped my grade, others docked from it. But, ultimately, being my genuine, consistently brash and friendly self has gotten me to the point I'm at today, and most of my friends, family members and coworkers would consider me successful.

I keep trying with stupid foolish pride, never taking no for an answer. Eventually, someone sees me as a person with strong character and admirable qualities and gives me a chance.
