John Barnes was an excellent player. I used to watch him when he started out with Watford. He never really showed his full potential with England, but he did score one of the best goals by an Englishman in Brazil.
Poor rapper and even worse Football Pundit, though.

He is recognised as one of the most talented players to ever pull on an England shirt and he ranks among Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, Peter Beardsley as one of the finest players ever to don a Reds jersey.
If its rapping you are talking about, I've heard Natalie Portman do better.
