this happens to me occasionally including last night. should i go to the docter with this embarrising issue?

See your Doc...A.S.A.P! That is a bad sign. You say this has been going on for how long? It may be nothing or really something serious. Ignore the Christmas jokes and talk to the Dr. I don't know what blood in the stool is supposed to mean but I recall seeing this on some medicine precaution in the medicine cabinet. Are you on any non- or prescription meds? I hope everything turns out fine for you!!

It either means that it is Christmas time, you eat way too much candy, or that you have a serious health issue and should see a doctor right away.

Must mean it's Christmas time again! jk You could have blood in your stool. The green color is something you ate or coming from your small intestines!

red in your stool could mean blood which is extremely serious. and it's not embarassing for a doctor....they have seen it all! Do you want a little red around your cheeks or something serious to happen?

Yes, blood in your stool plus it being off-color might be an infection. You should probably ask this in the health section.
go to www.webmd.com and it'll give you a list of diseases/infections things of that sort that would have the symptom of bloody/off colored stools.
