More specifically, Ontario. For instance, would you get arrested for wearing a shirt with a curse word on it or a religious or sexual reference?

In Canada you could probably be fined if you wore a t-shirt defaming any religion (except Christianity and Catholocism specifically), but other than that, anything goes. Including no t-shirt as going topless in a public place is legal for both men and women in Ontario.

In Ontario, you could get arrested for wearing a Montreal jersey or anything with the Quebec flag on it ;)

Probably not arrested for wearing that, but you would likely get a bunch of dirty looks from people who thought that you were being crass. I don't think it's illegal to wear anything here. But if you walked around in your birthday suit you might get picked up.

Freedom of speech is valued in Canada just as much as it is in the USA. So pretty much anything goes. In Ontario you can even go topless.

It's illegally stupid to wear your birthday suit in January.

I don't know. I do know that in Ontario you can go shirtless, bare-breasted, and it's not illegal.
