Haven't lost any of my fav playlists because of bookmarks.

Posting this in P&S because the folks in this category seem to know what's going on more than most.

A missing answer? 'Looks as if someone has answered and was been removed. [edit] Now that I've posted my response, the answer count goes down to zero.

Doing a search, it looks like you're right about something odd going on with webjay. Apparently Yahoo has been buying up all these various websites such as flickr and webjay for the past year. I guess Yahoo feels that it's too much to maintain or it's not as popular as some other music sites. I've found out not too long ago that they're going to close down the Yahoo Photo Albums, in favor of flickr.

Needless to say, Yahoo's got a lot of unhappy customers who don't trust the search site very much. Now the 360s folks have got their albums scattered in various sites. If the person has decided to move to photobucket, I've got to get an account just to view the goods.

Alternative music sites would be
http://projectplaylist.com
http://ilike.com
http://limewire.com ...etc
http://music.yahoo.com/launchcast/setup.asp

I dunno about ilike really. Someone bumped me a friends invite and I signed up for the sake of it. I haven't really used it, though. But it did seem to be pretty smooth changing pages and navigating the site.

Launchcast wasn't very enjoyable in my experience. But then, I've never really used it either.
