File a grievance with the florida department of labor. They will investigate your case, and more importantly investigate your employer.

If I were you I send a letter to your former place of work, and very calmly state that you have not recieved the following monies owed to you (unless you are talking about a commission based system, I don't think that you can count on your bonus, by law a bonus, is just that a bonus), and if you have not revieved the monies within 10 days, you will have no other option but to contact the Florida Department of labor at which point they will investigate your companies business practices and employee files. Send photo copies of all your reciepts and send it as a registered letter.

The same day you send the letter, file a grievance with the Department of labor.

The minute these people call up, in combination with your letter...you'll get your money.

If you need anythinng further, just e-mail me.

Start with the local better business bureau. You may also want to take him to small claims court, depending on the amount. You can really get things going by contacting your state's attorney general's office.

Your state department of labor would be a good place to start. Also federal dol. You might end up having to take him to court.
