Laguna Beach producers made sure they picked the rich kids who looked good.These kids have hair extensions,professional make up artists,designer clothes.

not everyone in laguna beach is that good looking... TRUST me. they just went through and interviewed for the best looking/most dramatic people. otherwise it wouldnt make for a good tv show.

I heard on MTV that the "MTV PEOPLE" hand picked not only the personalities but also the faces for the show. It was quite a tedious process. I think they wanted to present a bunch of pretty people.

Everyone on that show isnt good looking... I.e Kendra, talan, derek and that schmuck that messed around with tessa in season 3.

I HAVE NO CLUE BUT I SO AGREE!! they are like all rich, I liked Lauren she was so nice but I think Lo WAS SOO PRETTY(so was Lauren) AND SOO NICE!! i wish I could meet her!
