My friend's wife divorced him twice and he remarried her when she asked him to take her back. Then he divorced her and thought he could move on and she asked him back again. He is contemplating remarrying her for the fourth time. Is this as odd as I think it is?

I think its very odd. It sounds like they have little respect for marriage and the meaning of it, by breaking up and getting back together like high schoolers.

Yes it is very odd. My mothers friend married the same guy six times. But finally it was enough for both of them...why divorce and remarry if all that happens is u are wasting mroe and more money on marrying than. being happy and being together.

this is just wrong. It's going to be a continuous stressfilled cycle. Give this stupid desperate women advice. He is clearly not inlove with her and she is clearly scared of ending up growing old by herself. If she goes with him again he will probably seperate with her again.. maybe even at an old age and then never come back. Tell this broad to stop wasting her life and move on. Plus do you now how much money she could save if she didn't get married. Take her out to a bar and help her find a passionate guy, please! Help this women for her own sack! i mean sake!

Yes odd, he needs to take the hint that she really doesn't want him.

My brother-in-law remarried his ex before he married my sister. It's a long complicated story. Happy ending though.

One of my friends has been married (and divorced) six times; three times with the same woman. You gotta be willing to be mistreated a lot to let someone reel you in and throw you back that many times.

My parents were married twice and almost did it again but finally realized that they are better apart. They said they tried to stay together for the kids but the relationship actually did more harm than good. Both are in new relationships and are happy (at least my dad is).

I actually married my husband twice and divorced him twice; however, I wished that I had only filed for a separation and given him time to work out his issues. We have three beautiful girls.

its really odd and it seems like their not meant to be married. 3 strikes and your out. he shouldn't remarry her for the fourth time.

I think if they've gone through the divorce process three times already, that must mean something. I mean, it's not like they just separated. They actually divorced.

This happens on soap operas all the time. Especially with Frisco and Felicia Jones, before that Luke and Laura, in General Hospital.
