Oh goody! A question I can answer!
There are all kinds of things out there. In your own house, just look around.... food: carrots, zucchini, whip cream, choc. sauce. Items: candles, pop bottles, silky scarves, leather belts, vibrating toothbrushes. Hot tub jets or a removeable shower head is great too.
Go to the gas station and get: pop rocks candy, altoids mints.
For a big night out, go to the dirty store together. Spend time looking at different toys. Turn them on, how do they feel, texture, shape, size, vibrations... Then buy one to take home. Get some lube or oil too. Nothing like a nice long butt massage.

I just love my multi speed vibrator. My husband likes the "toy" as well, he can feel it when he is inside me. Using the toy is the only way I can orgasm, due to a childhood accident that severed some of the nerves in that area.

For what it's worth, the two most popular "toys" (and they are way more than toys in terms of product quality) are:
- the Hitachi Wand
- the Eroscillator.
Google both of them and check them out.
My wife has the Eroscillator and swears she could sell them door to door.
