Are you talking about a seahorse? First of all, they are saltwater fish, so it is nothing like a Goldfish. Seahorses need very exact water quality, and I am fairly sure you won't be able to keep that considering you know nothing about them (judging by your questions). They also need a very large tank. Maybe a community freshwater tank is more your level. Get a 10 gallon tank, and start off with 4 Guppies, before long, your Guppies will be having loads of babies. Make sure you research fish care first, because it sounds like you are new to this! http://www.firsttankguide.net/., this site is a great help...
