A full pardon will follow.

Have to keep him quiet some how, and if a pardon doesn't do it, he will come down with some sort of fatal disease.

Maybe Bush is claiming now that Libby was of the Legislative and not the Executive branch as Libby's former boss does.

I don't think President Bush is being odd at all, he is just being Stupid as usual. This is just a stupid rid of putting himself out there again in the public eye and making no sense about being loyal to the judiciary system at all. Look at his staff members and all the things he has done and they have done. It's worthless.

Everything Bush does is odd! This latest decision proves his friend can lie to the grand jury, obstruct justice and not serve time in jail. Lots of people are serving time for much smaller crimes. Doesn't that show that Bush, who answers to Cheney, thinks the laws are easily circumvented if one is part of the inner circle? Do you think he cares what WE think?

At least now we know what Bush meant by "taken care of" when he said on Feb. 10, 2004:

"If there's a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is," Bush told reporters at an impromptu news conference during a fund-raising stop in Chicago, Illinois. "If the person has violated law, that person will be taken care of."

And we thought he was just using speech sloppily as usual. Turns out he meant exactly what he said.

Interesting point. All I know is that I want to make friends with the next President. Sounds like you can get away with just about anything so long as you're pals with the President! I'll make friends with Hillary or Giuliani or whomever I have to, then embezzle as much dough as I can, lie in court, give away government secrets, maybe murder some people I don't like, and just let the my pals in the White House take care of it. :-P
