I'm looking for the name of a movie/show I saw as a child. The only thing I remember about it is that everyone except a dad, son, and daughter disappeared suddenly. The only thing left of everyone is their clothing laying in a heap where they vanished. I would love to know the name of the show/movie. Thanks for your help.

...I remember originally seeing that ABC Movie of the Week sci-fi/drama; it was "Where Have All the People Gone?", from 1974, it starred Peter Graves; it was a very compelling, albeit grim sci-fi tale.
It was unceremoniously released on VHS tape (I found one, years ago, while shopping at a swap meet); unfortunately, the film has yet to see release on DVD.

Sounds like a movie about the Christian idea of "The Rapture", where all the believers are taken up to heaven and the disbelievers have to stay behind.
Also sounds like "Night of the Comet", but that's an 80's movie that doesn't involve a dad and a son-- it's teenagers.
