Yes,offcourse it is a symbol of love. That, is atleast in India praised by the lovers as still the people swear for their love to be as pure as Taj Mahal.

To be quite honest I never really thought of Buildings as a symbol of love. I understand it is awesome, etc..etc.. but in the end it is a building.
So to me I view it as a mausoleum before a symbol of love.
