hey my mom doesnt trust me owning a motorcycle because she thinks its too fast and will get me killed. I'm not implying that it won't, im just wonderin if theres a motorcycle/bike that only reaches up to bout 25-30mls an hour...I know there are those little minibike things but when i looked at them their really small and i would prefer somtin that i could actaully fit on....so if u have any suggestions or know somtin towards wat im talkin bout..please let me know cause i cant find anythin

Honda ruckus 50cc scooter. Street legal with a useable top speed of about 30 mph. Plus it is one of the few small scooters that can can be used for light off roading as well. There is also a suprisingly large aftermarket for the Honda ruckus which means you can alot of cheap stuff to make it faster and more off road capable. The scooter itself is quite cheap as well an doesn't look bad either compared to what else is out there.

Yes. A 50 cc scooter is often big enough for an adult, but won't go much over your top speed. There's also mopeds. Moving up, there's the Kawasaki Eliminator 125, a little cruiser (still adult size) that is a bit over your speed limit (and requires a full motorcycle license) but can handle around town riding, and a lot of 125 cc scooters. The next size is the 250 cc class, most of which can - just barely - get up to freeway speeds. The exception is the Ninja 250, which has a 100 mph top speed and styling to seriously frighten your mom.

pretty much any 50 cc engine on a scooter or small motorcycle won't allow you to go much over 35 unless they have a kit to allow for a faster speed, your mom whould most likely allow you to get a scooter, they look safer and are auto not requiring you to shift gears like a motorcycle. check out the web site below, I know it's in Ohio but it will give you an idea of small engine scooters, the dragster 50 is cool looking and safe looking, remember that it is the driver who makes a vehice safe or unsafe

Sure, that would be a Harley. Much bigger than a mini bike. But heavy slow and lumbering compared to a real motorcycle.
