It's that faint little thing you see above the just-set sun (about 9:00PM), right next to that really bright thing, which is Venus. It's pretty rare that they appear so close together, I got a view a couple nights ago that had both in the same field of view, Venus crescent on one side, full-on Saturn w/ rings on the other. Sweet!

It is very near Venus in the sky just now. Venus is the VERY bright star in the west early in the evening, and Saturn is a medium bright star very nearby. This close grouping will not last long though.

When looking for any planet you must scan the path that the sun takes in it's daily trip across the sky, if you have a powerful scope you will know that you have found Saturn by it's rings being visible.

You can see Saturn only in the three hours after sunset. Look at west, there you see thr very bright Venus
Just next to it but far less bright you see Saturn.

It is in the West about 20 degrees up, near Venus (the brightest object in the sky other than the Sun and Moon). Go to http://www.astronomy.com or to http://www.heavens-above.com for sky maps.

Try this:

http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/Yourtel?lat=7.1985&ns=North&lon=142.453&fov=45&z=1
Looks like it's near Regulus, between the constellations Leo and Cancer.
