First off, we'd stop paying for illegal immigrant's medical care and giving them food stamps and financial assistance for coming to our country and either not working or having too many mouths to feed. Next, we'd get them out of our jails and send them back to their own country, except for the terrorists at Guantanamo. I agree that they need to be separated from our criminals so they don't turn them into terrorists as well.

antonio,
Politicians make lots of promises when they are campaigning, but the truth is, when they get into office (even if the congress has a majority in their party) they can only do what the other politicians agree to.
That's why I'm not behind Obama. I've been hearing cadidates make promises about universal health care for over thirty years and none of them have produced anything close to what they promised. Now Obama is talking that talk again and I'm not buying it because I've heard it all before.
Hilary Clinton is harping about racial issues that are so out of touch with reality that I can't support her either.
This country hasn't had good experiences with liberal southerners or wealthy texans either, but they keep electing them.
I wouldn't even vote if someone wasn't always pestering me about it.
The first thing I would do if elected would be to take a long vacation.

Strengthen ties with U.S.A, India, China, Japan and Spain with trade and Intelligence treaties egt. Then pull out of the E.U.
Set up a state company to research and produce alternative fuels. Produce much more electricity then the country needs and export it.
I'd also involve philanthropists in "Local Government" issues
All I need is the chance!

I would shut down the vast majority of the dysfunctional, unconstitutional federal government bureaucracy...
From education to retirement and everywhere in-between, the federal government has build an enormous system of taxation and waste, taking from states and localities the responsibilities and rights they were intended to have.
Any talk of nationalized healthcare would be seen as the absurdity that it is. The failure of Social Security should serve as a lesson.

Tackle Immigration. My proposed remedy is to long to list her but involves, more security at border, stiff fines for companies, making English official language.
Import restrictions, Penalties for outsourcing and other "world Business" practices, Market access to favor in country manufacturing. Make it harder for countries to access the market that is the US.
Have an infrastructure mandate for states where x amount of tax money has to go to improving infrastructure.
Cut all government salaries and pensions to fractions of what they are. Turn government service back into government service. Cut the size of government and bureaucracy and create Public Oversight on state and national levels.
Open up restrictions on drilling and nuclear power plants to drive down gas costs and create more energy supplies.
Privatize Heath care and hospitals, yet subsidize to encourage facilities in trouble areas, as well as maintain government over sight to maintain minimum standards.
Privatize education.
Put America to work making America better and more beautiful.

Here in the United States, I'd do what Ron Paul is saying he wants to do. I really think it would help. Beyond that, I'm not authorized to promote many social changes, am I? Yet in having any position of social influence, I'd work to improve society and reduce ignorance.

I would fix immigration and i would put people who want govenment help i give it to people who are legal citizens but the catch to get government help is they have to try to get a job and if they dont in a year or two they will be cut off of the govenment help For example Independ family program and welfare. Not finanical aid for college that is ok for them bc they are trying to better themselves. I do not want people to live off the government forever and i would not want them depending on the govenment for their lively hood forever.
I would try to get some kind of border control. I would try to look for illegal immigrants and if i found them i would deport them. For example if a judge finds a illegal immigrant in his/her court roomt they would be deported asap.
