do you have a favorite country singer. i enjoy listening to all the classic singers like johnny cash,marty robbins,merle haggard and so forth

I love Ronnie Milsap. He has always been one of my favorites along with Ray Price and Hank Jr.

Now I have just dated myself haven't I.

I like a few of the newer artists too like Toby Keith and Rascal Flatts.

I like a lot of 80's and early 90's country......Shenandoah, George Strait, Doug Stone, Travis Tritt, Patty Lovesless, Pam Tillis, Dwight Yoakum, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Bellamy Brothers, Confederate Railroad, The Kentucky Headhunters, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Hank Jr., Charlie Daniels, Restless Heart, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Marty Stuart, Ronnie Milsap, Holly Dunn, The Judds, and lots more....Sirus Radio has a great 80's country station!

Trace Adkins, Big & Rich, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Carrie Underwood, Rodney Atkins, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus, Johnny Cash, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, Joe Nichols, Lonestar, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift, and Sugarland....and about any other country singer if i idnt already name them all....lol. I love your whole list! True country music! No one holds a candle to Johnny Cash or Dolly Parton! But of the newer artists, I really like Miranda Lambert, she actually sounds country rather than just "twangy pop" like a lot of the new country. Some other artists are bringing the country back to country music like Gretchen Wilson and Jason Aldean, but there for a while it was hard to tell country from Top 40!

I'll an old rocker that is just beginning to like country music. Am enjoying Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, Rascal Flats, Jake Owen, Jace Everett and Wade Hayes to name a few. I still like Johnny Cash and the old ones from when my parents listened to them. Enjoy!

I am not a country fan, sorry. But my hubbie is, he loves Johnny, Merle, and Hank Williams.
