There is no "given" in show business. You may never find what you call a "good agent," just as there is no guarantee that you will be a working actor.

Agents want clients that have a strong acting résumé.
They want to see that the actor performed in productions at The League of Regional Theaters.

They want to see that the actor is a leading woman or leading man, by having many many leading roles on his/her résumé.

They want to see that the actor trained at the best schools in the USA for training actors. It's all a luck of the draw.

Most actors end up waiting tables.

You can research the best agents on google or yahoo. While you're waiting for a good audition from your agent, I would suggest ALSO looking on google or yahoo for suite life auditions. I'm pretty sure part of the disney channel website has info, but I'm not positive. You also may want to look for Nick teen auditions. But be careful. Do this with your parents so you don't get led into a scam. And while you are waiting for a good audition. I would suggest sharpening up your skills in community theatre shows for your big auditions. Hope this helped! Thanks for adding me to your contacts!
