The two big names of seattle just left. leaving a lot of young guys stranded there with no well experienced leader.
who made the dumber move and explain

Allen was forced out, so it's not his fault. Both are on lousy teams now. Not that the Sonics are any better.

Hey Adrian C,

i think Rashard Lewis made the dumber move because he had a lot of options- probably could have ended up on a contender like: Phoenix, Detroit, Dallas, or Miami, but instead he chose Orlando. He'll do well being in the East- but not enough to take Orlando over the top.

Ray Allen obviously wished he was still in Seattle but they shipped him out- so he didn't have too much choice in the matter.

Neither off them are going to the finals anytime soon.

Seeing as Ray Allen was traded, and Rashard CHOSE to go to Orlando...If neither situation works out, then Rashard made the dumber move. 1. Because he chose to, and wasn't traded. 2. Because his options were greater.

Ray Allen, the Sonics got not 1, but 2 great players from the draft. The Sonics have a descent team now. Allen will regret it when the Sonics make it to the Playoffs and the Celtics don't.

Well Allen had no choice and Rashards was pretty smart.

He had no shot at winning a championship in Seatle. East really does suck. It wouldnt surprise me to see Orlando being second round team next year. He has a better shot of winning in ORL

Money wise he probably made an extra 4 million a year by opting out and resigning. He was the number one available free agent available (billups/carter really aren't) and he took advantage of a week FA market.

Plus trading in rain for sunshine. No brainer. He is genius

Definately Ray Allen went to the team that has very little hope to make the playoffs next year. Orlando will be there for many, many years with Howard and Lewis.

Rashard Lewis made the dumb move why Orlando

Umm, I'll choose the owners! Allen and Lewis spent 5 years together in Seattle and only made the playoffs once. The owners are dumb for not putting better players around them.
