I share enough of my income through taxes that goes to welfare and food stamps while I struggle. I'm not sharing any more of it!

It depends on what I'm "sharing" it for. It might not even work out to all that much, since many Bush programs we are now paying for will be dropped and others added in. Impossible to know how that will all work out until it happens. I've heard some interesting predictions about Universal Health Care. Many, many programs we now have would be discontinued and that money rolled over into UHC. Right now it's just not possible to know how the drops and add-ins will even out.

First in a partnership those who receive a share normally put up either their own money or labors to receive that share. I do not have a problem with that, up to the amount they put in to that partnership, anymore than that and it is no longer sharing and the fact that we are forced to do it at the point of a gun is just plain theft.
And if anyone doubts my words, don't pay your taxes and you will find out what I mean by point of a gun.

I dont have a problem with sharing income if you are talking about charity. But I think that should be on my terms as to who gets some of my money and when.

If I want to share my income, or time, with a charity, then that is my decision, not the government's. Let the same people who are willing to give MY money, give some of theirs thanks.
Ask Thomas Jefferson what he said about the government giving charity so freely, when it is "our" money and not "theirs" the tables turn. Essentially, it is easy to give money when it isn't yours alone.

"share" give us a break.
tell the truth, how much was that tax refund bush sent you ?
because that is the difference between Clinton taxes and bush taxes.
I got back around 450 dollars.
I heard that people has rich as bush got back over 40 thousand dollars !
I guess if your rich it would feel like sharing. but I think that for most people the difference would Not change your quality of life.

Depends on with whom. Who could object to sharing incomes with Bill Gates &/or Warren Buffet?

I didn't know that when somebody pointed a gun at me and said, "Give me your money or bad things will happen to you." that it was considered "sharing". You can't gold plate a turd, and right now the republicans and democrats are BOTH trying to tell me it's solid gold. Hmmm...should my income be forcibly taken and redistributed to corporations or individuals? How about NEITHER? If I want to support your business I'll buy your goods or services. If I want to help you support yourself I'll give to local charities.

I would only "share" it with the indigent/disabled, or elderly. The rest of the people on welfare, that could work, and the illegal immigrants, can go fly a kite.
Joke:
Ron Paul and Hillary were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. Ron gave the homeless person his business card, and told him to come to his office for a job interview. He took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.
Hillary was very impressed; so when they came to another homeless person, she decided to help. She walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the Welfare Office. She then reached into Ron's pocket and got out $20. She kept $15 for her administrative fees and gave the homeless person $5.
See what happens when you have others "share" for you?

Who thinks calling names like "B J Clinton" is idiotic, especially considering we have a president named Bush (aka simpleton) and a vice president named Dick (aka thug)?
I find your avatar singularly appropriate. It goes with the chimp.
As for taxes, I really don't care. I'm secure and will continue to be secure. It won't deeply affect me, whatever the gubmint does. I don't trust the gubmint, unlike modern Conservatives.
I also think most illegals should be deported. Am I still liberal? So just pigeonhole me, pat yourself on the back, and continue to pretend you are a thinking man.
