We just found out yeaterday, at 32 weeks we are having a girl. I love the name Evelyn and for short call her Evvie. My other 2 daughters names are Hayley and Audrey so I do like the older names. Hubby's not crazy about it what do you all think? Thanks!

I love the name Evelyn that is my middle name I wish my first name was Evelyn. is is so pretty.

Just my personal opinion, Evelyn sounds like an older ladies name. But, you stated that you liked older names. If that is so, than it probably is a good name to use. I do like Hayley a lot, I have several friends in there 20's named that, and I do know a few younger Audreys. But this is your child, you give it the name you like best!! Evelyn sounds a bit old...as does Audrey but you gotta start out somewhere. Evvie, no. Maybe
Maybe Kristy, Cathy or some other names like that because it seems as if ur trying to keep a connection between all of your children's names.

If you want you can check out the Social Security website and you can find out how popular Evelyn is for a girl.
Eve is of course a very classic name for a girl, after all, that was the first woman's name. Ewie sounds horrible, teens say that when they encounter something gross.

I really like it but I have never seen it for a first name. A friend of mine named her daughter Mary Evelyn but calls her Evie and a friend of mind (mid-twenties) goes by Mary Evelyn.
