There was a CNN report in the 80's about some spiders with a six foot leg span that had grown beyond the ability to even walk. There were only a few of them, and they died quickly. Are you sure it was not the Japanese giant spider CRAB?

I don't know what your question is but i'm guessing it's how these spiders got so big. Put two and two together. Hiroshima over grown spiders hmmmm
