Why hasn't SETI found anything?

There have been so many different types of UFO sightings, types of ships photographed, abductions, and close encounters; you'd think we would have heard something by now?

UFO hoaxes, doctored photographs, false memory syndrome and mass hallucinations have nothing to do with the disciplined, systematic and time-consuming process that is SETI.
