If you open the printer, usually the instructions are in a sticker inside. Also if you got a new cartridge box, the instructions would be inside as well.

Generically, push the "access cartridge" button so you can get to the cartridge (if there is such a button), open the cover, pull the cartridge back from the holder, and it'll come loose. Then pull up the extract it. Remove new one from package, remove the tape covering the print head (if any), and drop inot holder and push forward until it snaps into place. Close cover, and follow instructions on the printer for post-install calibration.

Best methoid, would be to refer the Guides which came with ur PC. Else reference to the HP site under support would also help, for figurative descriptions...

Well, you'd first have to open the cover(should be facing you) that contains the cartridge, then lift the catridge at the neck, a bit, say bout 15 degrees, when you shall hear a click sound. Once thats done, you can pull back the cartrirdge. This is removing the cartridge.

To, put a new one back, we do exactly the opposite steps of removing the cartridge. However, prior to removal, please ensure that you remove the colored band on the cartridge

There should be instructions in the manual.
Usually you open a lid, pull out the old cartridge, put in the new, and close the lid.
