What Detroit needs right now is a Center. Someone who will be close to filling that spot Ben Wallace left. Chris Webber is too old for the job. Fresh legs are needed. Yes they need someone tall for the Center position....but we do not need that many (three?) 6'6 guards.....there are already plenty of tall guys in the squad. Rasheed, Prince....are just some of the tall guys. Like i said, they need to go young not old and fast players too.

Who knows if the draft players will be good, time will tell.....we only hope they wont turn out to be like Darko.

They defintely had a "look for the future, not for today" draft. No way Stuckey, Afflalo or Meija will start over Billups or Rip. Not this year, and probably not the next one.

They wanted to have a good, young guard comming off the bench for them instead of 36 year old Lindsey Hunter.

Now, I do believe that Stuckey will be a great player in the NBA, and Afflalo will be decient too, they will both learn from the best backcourt in the NBA.

Having those mentors along with a decient amount of playing time for the next 2 years will make these 2 players very good, very quickly.

They Drafted 3 Shooting guards and i may be wrong but personally I don't think any of them is going to have that much of an impact on their team. They could have done better.

I think Stuckey's going to be a great player. Chauncey will be a good mentor for him (if they do decide to keep him around, which I'm sure they will)
