I am doing an application to get into a school, and I need help on finding out what quality truly means. I am looking for words that could explain me. Could you help? If there are any sites that I could go to that could explain me, please tell me.

Example; You go to a store to purchase a pair of trousers. Your choices are , designer names, long standing names, new names of garment manufacturing.
designer..Kenneth Cole
long standing...Levi/Strauss
new name ....made in????
Which would you choose ?
The designer because you positively know it's first quality.
Levi because it's been here forever and it's a given for quality
or made in??? have no idea how it will hold up.
Bottom line............
designer .....you are buying the name
Levi's ....you buy the name because it has stayed on the market for so long
made in ????.....Never unless you want to inspect it.
The point of quality is to always have someone in control of it. To know that the manufacturer has always produced quality and kept control of it.
In the manufacturing aspect the quality control auditors are disliked intensely by the workers. Why? because that person will find their mistakes.
It is the top choice of anything purchased.
It is the best of the best.
It is good judgement

you could ask your friends what they qualities you have-that way you can get a first hand look, not a computer generated one
