we tried our city and state there isn't much your salary must be under 40,000 any suggestions?

we have no money to put down abd the house we are getting which is the cheapest in the area is 210,000 and we haveno money down

w/ the housing market the way that it is, and home values dropping ... w/ a combined salary of 57k, you shouldn't need a grant to buy a house.

anyway, i'm not sure where you could get one, but you'd probably have to go through the state, not city.

57k income and 210k home price is within the rules of acceptable income to house price ratios. Assuming your credit scores are ok and you are not swimming in other debts.

You may be able to afford more then you think.

Save some money for a down payment, THEN look for a house.
