I have a British Penny that's from 1962 and in excellent condition that a co worker of mine is interested in buying from me and I would like to know if anyone knows where I can find a price for it.

Go to your local library and see if they have a book called the "Standard Catalog of World Coins", published by Krause Publications. It is the most widely used reference for foreign coins today, and most public libraries have it
You will find that your coin lists for US$1.00 in uncirculated (like new) condition.

It's not true that a penny must be a 100 years old to be worth more than one cent *rolls eyes*. It depends on the date among other things, I'm looking for the value of a British Penny (Pence) myself but from 1944. I happened to find a 1951 British Penny (Pence) that sold for $47 U.S. dollars.

Really its market driven, how much is it worth to you, and how much does she want to give to get it. Capitalism is a beautiful thing :)

PS. Its true value maybe having her pay for lunch and cement the friendship over a penny :)

1 cent
it's just a penny, it's not gonna be worth more than one cent unless it's over 100 years old or something
